Our
pub is now community owned
After turning the Golden Lion from a traditional 140 year old pub that served food, into a rather unwelcoming restaurant, the owner failed and closed the door on New Years Eve It remained neglected for eleven years
He happlied to demolish it and build houses on the site. This is the only pub in the village and is important to the community..The application was refused
